Under the care & co brand, profawo takes care of employees who look after relatives alongside their work. The challenges of balancing family and work are not overcome when the youngest child leaves the parental nest to set up their own business. Sooner or later, many employees are faced with the responsibility of caring for relatives who can no longer manage on their own. This situation will become increasingly common in view of demographic change and increasing life expectancy.

Our contribution
As an active member of the Interessensgemeinschaft Angehörigenbetreuung (IGAB), we are committed to improving the framework conditions for family carers in Switzerland. By supporting the IGAB, we promote political initiatives that aim to relieve the burden and strengthen the rights of family carers. In doing so, we are helping to bring the challenges of this important work more into the focus of society and achieve lasting recognition at a national level.
